In this weeks lecture we focused on the basics of the Common App and asked you to create a professional email and to fill in your basic profile information. Workshop 1: Technology and Personal Branding
During our workshop I introduced the concept of personal branding. I encourage each of you to create your own webpage/profile on About.Me and to begin compiling your resume on LinkedIn. I also talked about social media in the college admissions process and the importance of managing your online identity. Finally, I asked you to register for a VPN so that you have access to my website.
